Now carrying….

Company history: Lulu Lytle and Christopher Hodsoll founded Soane Britain on the Pimlico Road in 1997 designing beautiful furnishings, which are hand-made in Britain to give lasting pleasure.
Since then Soane has become defined by its exquisite craftsmanship, elegant proportions and deliciously English sense of the exuberant.

With uncompromising commitment to British manufacturing, all of Soane’s furniture, lighting and fabrics are made in workshops around Britain. For nearly 20 years Soane has sought out and cultivated relationships with dedicated artisans practicing prized skills such as iron forging, fine chair making, precision engineering and saddlery.

Soane is proud to have secured the future of British-made rattan by the acquisition in 2011 of the last surviving rattan weaving workshop in Britain. An apprenticeship scheme has been established, ensuring that these skills are fostered and developed.

Producing the handmade collection locally allows the quality to be constantly monitored and ensures a personal, collaborative relationship between Soane’s design studio, the workshops and our clients.”

We’ve seen these guys on instagram – checked them out at the IDSWest and now we are excited to start working with this wall decal (& more) company from Vancouver! If you haven’t had a chance to see their stuff yet – you have to head over to their website.

The Condo collection combines a selection of nature inspired textures. Linen, cotton and viscose are elegantly integrated into the different fiber constructions, giving richness to these European fabrics. Timeless and exclusive to Avant Garde, Condo gathers six different textures which display natural tones such as slate-gray, pewter and cream. This assortment also reveals a broad range of color trends: peony pink, sky blue, ocean blue and moss green. These performance fabrics are an ideal choice for upholstery.
Make sure you check them out at our FALL EXPO !

Color Theory’s fourth volume is all about a palette of subtle, sophisticated
tones with a focus on interesting shapes, patterns and textures.

Prairie is inspired in color and texture by a natural grassland setting. Camel, honey blonde and rattan hues blend into deep pecan shades.

Blue Crush splashes out with tones of chambray and wedgewood. Trendworthy deep turquoise is paired with softer, grey-inflected blues that can be layered as a neutral.

Moonstone is a collection of cool and elegant range of neutrals ranging from pale mother of pearl to chic and grounding washed black.

We are loving the natural fibres and craftsmanship they offer.

DRIFT – LINEN: A design inspired by the delicate shapes left by the sea, watery refractions and soft light, the endless movement of water and the re drawing of the same line along the shore over and over again. Hand drawn, designed in our studio and screen printed using natural pigments in our own factory in England on 100% linen.

COTTON – FONTANA: A geometric design of flowing of water, the continuous ripples of light on a fountain. Hand drawn, designed in our studio and screen printed using natural pigments in our own factory in England on 100% cotton. Suited to upholstery, curtain making and walling.

PANGEA – UNION: The original supercontinent. A fantasy landscape of plant, animal and mineral. Folk art shapes creating a playful, naive landscape to dream yourself into. Hand drawn, designed in our studio and screen printed using natural pigments in our own factory in England on 100% cotton. Suited to upholstery, curtain making and walling.

“A sophisticated mix of beautiful patterns & luxurious texturals. These collections include botanical palm fronds, geometric prints, exquisite novelties and natural grasscloth. Soft, matte hues and unusual colour combination of natural, mauve, blush and stone-rose to teal, sage, orchre, rich dark blue & fog, charcoal & smoke. These exquisite patterns in sophisticated colour hues have an endless allure.”

!! Exciting news !!
Habitat for Humanity has opened up their THIRD location @

 50 Burnside Rd West.

Habitat for Humanity Victoria brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

Can you believe this???

Donate to their build program, Volunteer with them, or donate your gently used goods to the ReStore.
How can you help?

Some 14% of renter households in the Capital Region are defined as being in “core housing need”, meaning they do not live in, and are unable to access housing which is affordable, in adequate condition, and of suitable size.

If you are unable to bring the items to ReStore yourself, give them a call and they can send someone to pick up your goods! Far too often we toss things into the landfill – it’s time we start to recycle and help those in need.
Below are some items you can donate!
Appliances, Building Supplies, Cabinets, Doors & Door Hardware, Hardware, Home Décor , Plumbing, Fixtures, Flooring, Furnishing
